How is the speakers? Do they use the radio or is it old school by hanging the speaker on you window?

Yes, they use the radio. If you don't have a radio in your vehicle or like me, side outside in the bed of my truck, you can rent radios from concessions. I think it's only $3 to rent a radio.

It use an FM modular system so it comes right through your car speakers. Much better then the ol fashioned metal hang on window speakers
