Generally speaking soft tops are not a problem unless they are old, frayed or decomposing. You can also request that we turn off the top mitter which we do for cars that have larger than normal luggage or roof racks. If you do request that we leave the top mitter off just keep in mind the amount of cleaning on the hood and the top of the vehicle will be limited. If there's any doubt at all I would not recommend washing it through the tunnel. We also offer a full service hand wash that costs more but it doesn't require you to process the vehicle through the tunnel.
Convertible cars with Soft Tops are not recommended for Automated wash systems, Check with your dealer, they may have some suggestions, My car is 17yrs old, for the first 12yrs, my dealer gave me free carwash ( small tip for the porter ), it was perfect
I would not take a soft top in the carwash
