There are a lot of street people/druggies/homeless in that area, so closing doors at 9 seems reasonable and prudent.
Ive always been told they lock the doors at 9pm open 6am. Drivethru open 24 hrs. Seems to be the normal hours for all the fast food places not just mcD's.
