It's not technically a reservation, but they definitely want you to call ahead and tell them when and how many are coming so they can push tables together if needed.
Truthfully i believe they would bring tables togather to suit your comfort like they did for us on our anniversary we just had and shared with family and friends. I would still go enjoy yourself !!!
