In the winter you can just drive through and make stops along the way to take pictures

We took the driving tour and loved it!

Just drive. I was there last week and we mostly drove around and stopped off at turn outs for pics. We only hiked 2 trails as it was icy

The shuttle is not running in the winter and only services a portion of Zion. A driving tour, stopping at the numerous turn outs and view points makes a nice day. The drive to the east entrance is very nice. The main canyon to the lodge has limited views. Have fun.

Take the Tour buses inside the Park

I believe they have a shuttle.. but if you could drive her, that's what we did. The mountains are just spectacular. Roll down the windows and enjoy.
