Parts of Zion is dog friendly
I would also recommend you NOT bring your dog. There are parts of Zion that are dog friendly but most parts are NOT. It is a National Park where water in the desert does not run free unless it rains and then it can pour and hiking trails are every where. If everyone followed "good pet owner habits" they might open the Park up to Dogs but not every one does. Can you imagine carrying your dogs bag of excrement with you in 100 degree weather on a 5 mile hike? Exactly, not to mention many times water is not available in Desert Areas and 911 teams are called in for dehydrated hikers. It is hard enough to bring enough water for oneself let alone a pet.
They only allow dogs on the Pa'rus trail. But I have seen service dogs all the way up to the narrows. I'm not sure about the camp grounds.
No clue on that.
Dogs are not allowed in the park. There are boarding services outside the park.
Dogs are allowed on one trail. The Parus trail. Starts at the Visiter Center. They can also be on the road or parking lot. They aren't allowed on the shuttle bus. We used a dog care in St George. There are also a few closer to Springdale. We did take them to Snow Canyon State Park which has more dog friendly trail access and some which dogs aren't allowed.
I would recommend to not bring your dog
Not really. They have a lot of restrictions. Check their website out for details.
