Are all areas in the zoo accessible to handicap people in scooters?

Yes, the Zoo is handicap accessible. We do provide manual wheelchairs for rent on a first-come, first-served basis for $5. An EZ Cart automated wheelchair is also available for rental by reservation. Please contact the Admissions Department at (401) 785-3510 x316 at least 48 hours in advance of your visit to reserve the EZ Cart. The rental fee is $25.

Yes,the entire zoo has paths and ramps so as to make it easy and accessible for strollers, wheelchairs etc.
