Yes, backpacks are allowed. The public is also allowed to bring their own food into the Zoo. Please note that the Zoo does not have any secure storage facilities/lockers, so lunches and other materials must be carried with you. Picnic tables are available. Cubbies are available during the summer months near the Admissions entrance. Please be advised that these cubbies are not monitored. We recommend visitors do not leave valuable items in the cubbies. Restaurants are open daily during the summer season. Cafe's include a wide variety of quality menu items at a great value (dishes start at just $3). The menu includes classic favorites like all-beef burgers, homestyle mac ‘n cheese and chicken tenders with French fries, as well as other local favorites. Please note: Guests are also allowed to bring their own food into the Zoo.
