I understand that it is not TECHNICALLY ok to bring a non-service animal into a store, but the NORM in NW seems to be to welcome well behaved dogs in stores. So wondering if dogs are often seen in the store/what staff actually does? tx

I've been in this store about 30 times and have never seen a dog. As a national chain they probably have a store wide policy about non service animals.

I have seen well behaved dogs here, some rather large ones, too.

We only allow “service” dogs. As long as he is of service we allow all dogs :)

thanks for the response. you never know so I thought I'd ask, but I think you're right that a national chain is more apt to toe the line.
