I bring my kitty in my backpack they cant see em so theve never said anything get a backpack and put a bed in it if your dog is small enough
As long as your pet is well behaved, the employees usually don't ask you if your animal is a service animal as it could be grounds of discrimination. You're allowed to bring your companion in Target with no worries usually.
