Hi, we are planning to attend this Saturday July 21, 2018. It is supposed to be raining and thundering? Are you still open? Will we still have a good experience seeing the animals? Also, are any exhibits shut done at this time for renovations? Thanks

The zoo will stay open. The red pandas are off for renovation, the design looks like it's going to be really cool. Rhinos and giraffes if end up inside because of the rain you can see them inside behind their exhibits.

The red panda exibit is also closed right now for construction. The animals are less active when it's too hot.

The zoo won't close for rain, but whether or not you want to go is up to you. The weather may keep some animals inside and out of sight. The Polar bears are closed for construction for sure.
