I was there 3 weeks ago. The explanation is on the website. The arctic and red panda/tiger areas are being renovated. The only animals that are not viewable are the seals and the red panda. However for all the times I have been to the DZ, I have only seen the polar bear once, and never the red panda. I am super excited about the new habitats!! Those are the two habitats that I simply avoid generally because they are so dissapointing! Penguin habitat is amazing and don't miss the prarie dogs, kangaroos, gorillas, lemurs!, Giraffe, wolves, otters, zebras or the newly added wilderbeast. I also always look forward to the butterfly garden and aviary. I hope the lion and bear habitats will be updated soon too!

And they don't tell you until you walk through the trail at the end.
