Now I know the insides don’t look colonial but Does the outside look colonial or does it look like a typical mall?

its independent shops along the street. some are on blocked streets its just outside of colonial part. Its more a college vibe then colonial being right next to W&M

The Colonial Williamsburg area is completely period maintained, buildings inside and out and period clothing is worn by all employees. They even speak in old style. You cross a street, beyond barriers and the shops are modern.

Looks modern

Well the part with all the shops are literally right next to the Colonial part but no it looks modern and it's all an outdoor area
