From just strolling the area for a morning or evening walk, to unique shopping opportunities to my best part is the variety in restaurants and eateries... one of my favorite s in the area is Salad works.. Has a parking garage ohh Henry Street near Saladworks and plenty of 2 hour free parking lots or pay by mobile after that or take a shuttle or bus from the Williamsbug Information center. Now it also has seasonal attractions like parades, fireworks, Ice skating rink(winter of course🤣🤣) wine bar.. Theater for plays ...and less than a few steps from the Historical William & Mary College... definitely an area to visit if down for one of their games...or a parent day visit...

Merchant's Square in Colonial Williamsburg is a wonderful place to hangout, relax or shop or just have a coffee or meet with friends. My wife and I spent a couple days just walking around enjoying the warmth of the coming Spring weather and all there was to see as well as taking advantage of the different eateries. Everyone wears a mask...even outside, though it's not mandatory outside of there is no one near you. Businesses practice social distancing and restaurants are only open at fifty percent occupancy.
its independent shops along the street. some are on blocked streets its just outside of colonial part. Its more a college vibe then colonial being right next to W&M

Yes. There is street parking as well as lots that say 2 hours. One of us just walked back to the car and relocated to another lot after 2 hours
