Not the old school version, but nothing is. At least now they have AC. Plenty to choose from and unique items in a modern storefront. Sad to see such low traffic in a historically cool business

Um… so where should I start with this place? Ok, you know those scenes in zombie movies when the people are walking through a deserted department store? That’s this place… except it’s not your traditional department store and this place is weirder. Weirder than an abandoned apocalyptic zombie department store? Yep! Leaving this place with so many more questions than when we arrived. Like, how does this giant place make enough to pay for the air conditioning let alone the rent/mortgage? Half the shelves are empty. Did I really just walk 300’ back to a register to pay cash for a bag of moss? Yep. Why doesn’t anyone say hello to the 3 customers they get a day? Why do I have to pay cash in building B but not building A or C? Why is there a road behind the building that crosses over a train track and only exits to a gated dirt road to some random buildings in the distance? As intriguing as this place is, I don’t have a need to return.

This place used to be awesome then they "remodeled" it. Now the artisans and craftsmen, who once handmade things here, are gone the warehouses full of hard to find things like globes for oil lamps, lamp shades, and serious kitchenware is …

Like so many others have stated our family was looking for the old experience of the Williamsburg pottery when we were young children. They’ve updated it to a strip mall kind of feel. Only one of the buildings is open currently which is the …

There were so few employees in there the last time I visited, you could probably carry a great dane in a shopping cart and be just fine.
What are the prices like ? Compared to Hobby Lobby
The place is not worth the trip. It should close. The old pottery was much better.
I'm not sure how it works. I was heading home from vacation and decided to stop. I was more amazed with the makeover they had done, place didn't look the same
As of the time of this post the masks are not required if you're fully vaccinated they require that you maintain your minimum safe distance as per the CDC guidelines however in the near future masks may be mandated again as cases are on the rise again
I don't think I have ever seen any clocks at the pottery. Most ao the pottery is closed down.
Didn't see that.
I did not see any. There was only one store, Building A, open.
Currently no. Is there something in particular you're looking for
I'm not sure. I'm sorry.
You'll need to contact them directly and I'm pretty sure that they will mail
I have gone there for 40 years, never experienced that.
Why don't you ask them? The general public doesn't know this information.
It's not the pottery I remember growing up. It is a retail outlet now. Very disappointing when compared with the old one.
If they are a chocolate brown color and have a flat "plank" coming off the rim, then they are Bird Bottles. They are bird houses and are meant to be mounted with the v shape bottom attached to the wall, tree, post, etc.
They have a last chance "skid row" area. Closeout/ overstock items.
Yes they do and they are absolutely beautiful!
GPS...if your at pottery take a left and stay straight. Will be on your right about 4-6 miles
I was very disappointed when i arrived and there was very little pottery. According to the lady that works there the city didnt renew the contract and have moved pottery production to china. The store is no longer allowed to make the pottery because its copy righted. Its very sad. She said they had to destroy all of the pottery they had. Now if you order williamsburg pottery online it will say made in china. They had a few pieces they had recently made, a wine mug. The rest of the store is stuff that you can find at hobby lobby or walmart. Dont waste your time.
I saw none. It's not the same as it was in the 70s & 80s.
I don't think they have hand blown glass. But the glass house in Jamestown has beautiful hand blown glass.
I have not seen any recently butt they do carry them occasionally
I didn't see any at all... I suggest calling first.
Yes it is. It's beautiful, 3 large buildings. Air condition, great items, not like the old pottery. You will enjoy the experience.
The prices vary, they still sell the original clay pots, however the retailer said once they are gone, that is it. They no longer make them onsite
