You do not need a membership to use the pharmacy or optical department. Just simply state you are using those departments. You can purchase the items you need from either department without purching a membership. However to purchase anything else in the warehouse you will need to purchase a membership.
yes. of course you need a membership. all purchases require the input of one's membership card in order to complete the transaction. the prices for glasses & meds (& items at the hearing dept, i assume, as i haven't personally purchased anything from there) are so great because they are exclusively reserved for those who are MEMBERS. there would be no point for people to pay annual membership fees if a membership was not required.
Yes, you need
Yes. You need a member card to enter the building.
No you don't
You don't need a Costco membership to go to pharmacy, optical, or hearing, but optical exams and hearing screenings are non-member allowances that Costco makes. However, if you need to buy glasses, contacts, or hearing aids, a membership is required.
They say you dont need a membership for pharmacy or optical but when you get to this Costco they treat you like garbage if you dont have one and will have people follow you around like you are a theif..one review said that this girl was followed and watched as she went to pick up her medication and she wasnt a member..how rude is that, medication a person takes is personal info too....
