Most malls close early on Sundays because many people do not go to malls Sunday nights. Therefore, it would lessen the profits of the stores there.
Sundays are usually for family, but sone have to work even so. This is the only day that the Mall closes early. Not including holidays.
I believe it goes back to blue laws, but all malls close around 6 pm on Sundays.
