Kids 2 and under are free and Love animals. Find some kids and make it a day.
You can go without kids. I believe it's $36 for an all access pass. Which means rides and all. It's a good deal to pay for it all up front
My husband and I just went at the end of May. Just get the regular admission if you don't want to partake in the rides that are available.
Two adults can go. My wife and I used to go long before our daughter was born
