This is a tough question as if you have very small kids that want to walk entire Zoo and also depends on if you will eat and rides and time spent looking at each animal the shows so I can tell you to walk entire exhibit is roughly 7000 steps
About 4 hours with pictures with a quick lunch, and skipping the petting farm, ride, and deer island
We got there about 10 am and saw everything by 3pm , going at a easy pace.
About 3 hours
We did it in about 4hrs
Please read full description!!!! We have a disabled child so we had to think this out. The park is on a downhill slope from the entrance. Built on the side of a hill. The first part is a fairly steep grade. There are only 2 food sources and 2 other places to get drinks. One at the entrance and the other half way down. With one drink source halfway down and one at the bottom. If there are more I did not see them. The food line was 30 people a half hour after we got there right when they opened. And they are rediculously slow to cook a hot dog. 2 hot dogs a veggie burger and 3 fries took 28 minutes and we were first in line. So eat before you get there it's very exspensive. The train ride had a full line( over 60 people 1 hour after arriving.) If you want to ride the train or skyfari start at the bottom as soon as they open and work your way back up to the top of the hill. It will make your day alot quicker depending on how many kids you have. Average day is. 3.5 hours with my daughter.
With kids it took us 4 hours with the train ride
The zoo itself recommends about 3 hours. But that can vary lines if you do the skyfari or the train ride. The day of the week matters as well. Things will move faster during the week than the weekend. We spent about 5 hours there today and didn't get to ride the train because of the line.
Maybe and hour and a half. Depending on how fast you walk or stop to eat. They have ziplines too. So that takes alittle time too.
