My flight leaves MKE and I have a transitions stop at Detroit but they only give us 30 minutes to transition between flights... is this enough time?? Does anyone have any tips about this?

You'll be fine unless first plane is late. They are pretty good about getting you on another flight should you miss it for some reason.

Which airline? Delta has its own terminal in DTW and gates can be in different concourses, fairly far apart. In the North terminal, on the same airline as you left MKE, making a connection in 30 should be little trouble. Good luck and safe travels....

If the airline says it's ok they deem it ok, myself I would ever trust a 30min change of plane.
