Having a plan with the ppl you are picking up is always a good idea. Planes usually taxi 10 to 15 minutes and baggage claim takes about 15 minutes. The best plan is to watch the flight in real time and leave so that you get there 5 minutes after the plane leaves and get there right about the time they get to baggage claim and have them text or call you when they have their bags and then drive through the baggage claim area and that way you can drive through when they text. If you don't want to keep driving around, the post office is right before the entrance to the airport and you can park there until they text you.
