I am planning on buying a 65” flatscreen tv. I won’t be removing it from the box until May when I hope to be able to move into my new home. If at that point If it doesn’t work or is broken, will there be a problem in exchanging it?

You won't be able to exchange it. Typical return policy is 14 days, and holiday returns will only extend you until the middle of January.

Holiday purchases made on or after November 1st have a return policy til January 13th currently. The tv would still carry 1 year warranty for defects not physical damage. And an optional 2 or 5 year plan can be purchased through store for more extensive coverage.
