There used to be when I was a kid back in 2001, I guess bats no longer dwell here.

I've only seen a small bat once, it was during the winter. We were told that bats will only be in the caverns during the winter, when the weather is bad. There isn't any food for them down there, so they only use the caverns to escape the weather.
