If u have a 10 year or 100k miles warranty and there's no related damage then it should be covered. However, I have learned that they don't easily honer the warranty and how they play games and try hard to rip u off. My 2016 Sonata engine misfired after 20k. Luckily, I know a few good and honest mechanics who give me a free diagnosis and help me decide when I should go to the 'Stealership' and how to deal with them. So here is what I would do: 1. Go to your mechanic first for diagnosis. 2. Get any damages repaired even if it's unrelated in order not to give them any chance to try to fool u. Also if your car issues are caused by damages they'll offer to fix it at their very high rates or they will rip u off with the diagnosis fee if u decline the service. It's a $130 if I remember correctly. You can learn a lot online especially on YouTube about their up selling tricks.
