Hello! You will need to complete an Adoption Application when you come into the shelter to meet the animals. We will then need time to process the Application - calling references, your vet, and landlord (if needed). Depending on which animal you are interested in, they may still need to get the rest of their vet care completed prior to Adoption as well. If you have any additional questions, please call 814-364-1725 during our open hours. Thanks!

I don't believe so, as long as the pet you are adopting us already spayed or neutered. They have an in-house vet who takes care of that I believe. You can always call them and ask though. Good luck! :)

Yes, you have to fill out an application and have it approved before you can take your pet home.

Yes. They have to call references and verify with your veterinarian that you're a suitable home for the animal your applying for. And depending on the animal, it may need to be spayed/neutered and vet checked before being adopted.
