There is very limited free parking in the garage behind Starbucks. On street parking on South Avenue East is metered. Note your space number and pay at kiosk. There is limited free parking on adjacent High Street. This is a residential street. While homeowners can't legally stop you, the courteous thing to do is move if asked to. Across the street at the Train Station, parking is by commuter permit only. You will definitely be tagged and towed if you park there, especially on weekdays during commuting hours. On Sunday rules are a little more relaxed. There is a drive through Starbucks on North Avenue and Elizabeth St. Not too many know that there's a side entrance on Elizabeth St. During peak times cars backup on North Avenue. To avoid potentially getting rear-ended, that's when I use the side entrance off Elizabeth and then merge with the North Ave traffic. Service is not any faster taking this entrance, but it is safer.
