It's absolutely lovely - fast and easy canoe/kayak rental process, really beautiful river passing houses and then getting into Nomahegan Park. I took off 1 star due to cost. $40 for one kayak (2 hour rental) seems rather overpriced. Worth it for a couple trips per year, but too expensive to make it a weekly activity.

Lovely day!!!!! so glad we found this place. Carlson was helpful getting us in and out of kayak. Thanks

Hey Rob, I’ve been to the Cranford Canoe Club twice, and I have seen people take their dogs on rides with them on both the occasions. So, I’m pretty sure you can bring your dog with you for a canoe ride! Your dog’s safety is your responsibility though, including your own :)
At this location i would say not really. Everyone is required to wear life vests. The river is frequently shallow and too small to have any life threatening currents. This is probably one of the best places to start for beginners to kayaking. Note there are other kayaking locations in NJ that provide lessons/guided tours for beginner kayakers.
There's a park nearby you can enter thru, this place just rents out kayaks/ canoes.
No you don't. Just make sure you came at last 2 hours prior close time
Hi Shari, we suggest 3 adult sized people to a canoe to be comfortable. And as long as there is one licensed person out with the group, they'll be fine.
Yes they are open 4th of July
I believe they do
I don't think so
