I guess you can't reserve anything here, so do I run the risk of not finding a spot to place my tent? My family is from the area, and I'm coming from the beach. Just hate to drive 4 hours and not have anywhere to put my stuff.

We were there July 4th weekend, grass wasn't cut so many of the spots needed someone with a weedwhacker. Two other campers had them obviously well prepared

No, you can't reserve a spot as it is first come first serve. Usually there isn't too many people there. Although last night had a few more people and if you wanted it to feel like a campground there was only room for like one more person. It isn't that big of a campground. But there isn't really designated sites so you park anywhere there is a spot. Another thing is that the bathrooms are closed
