If you are paying out of pocket for little things like cavities or cleanings, I would say so. Root canals and other more intensive procedures, not so much. But this is just my personal opinion. If your insurance is out of network, I would strongly suggest getting them to submit a claim to your insurance carrier to see what, if anything, they will cover. That's what I had to do.
