Can one use a small generator for a few hours in the evening or during the day at times in the non electric camp sites

I think if you need power get a site with power. People go to have peace and quiet. Nothing is more disturbing than hearing some generator when your there to escape such racket.

Yes, I would definitely stick to the rule laid out in the above comment. I have been here many times and can attest to the fact that the rules and regulations are strictly enforced here, for some reason, I notice a large concentration of DCNR officers in the area. If you follow this rule and use common sense, you should be fine.

Campers must not disturb the sleep of others between 9:00 P.M. and 8:00 A.M. Electric generators that create excessive noise are prohibited... I think as long as it's off between those hours they are ok
