We just found this hidden treasure and can’t wait to stay here. Beautiful and remote. Everything we love about camping. On June 13,2022 we were blessed to return to this campground and we reserved spot #61 for 3 nights and 4 days. This camp spot is the farthest end of the campground. The space was very easy to back the camper unit and it had water and electricity hookups. It has a picnic table and a fire pit. I loved that the creek was in one side and the mountain on the other. The deer wandered around and I loved watching them and taking pictures. We brought our bikes and biked 4 miles out to the park entrance. We also hiked several of the marked hiking trails. I believe my favorite was the Old Stone Trough Trail, seeing the evidence of a previous life style overwhelmed me. Their very existence depended on their ability to raise their own food and that stone trough is a memorial to them. There is no cell service at the campsite but a short hike up the hill or a bike ride to the camp store you can make calls, text or check what the outside world is doing. I personally need this time away from the world and it’s insane population. I recommend bringing a tent or camper and get back to nature where we began as a species. Everyone there is helpful and kind for this I am grateful. The food taste better cooked and eaten in the forest. Also we forgot our camp chairs so we drove out to Glenville which is approximately 12 miles where there is plenty of stores, gas stations and restaurants. We are looking forward to returning.

We absolutely LOVE this campground. Large level sites. Very clean. Amazing customer service. Very family oriented! Hayrides and other games etc for the kids.

Gorgeous Park! We were so impressed with the cleanliness and the gardening of this park. Very peaceful. Camp was about half full. Lots of families. Beautiful creek flowing …

My favorite state park. Family friendly, a good place to ride bikes, and well kept. Our most recent trip was very wet (we even left a day early as the creek level was approaching our tent location), but as the old saying goes: "a bad day camping is better than a good day at work" or something like that.

No camp grounds are open memorial day thru labor day
I was there end of June. Boats can hold 5 persons. I believe it was $3 per person for 30 minutes.
They sure do! My family was just here(:
They rent them but you can't bring your own.
Most of your sites will have water and electric. Theres a dump station at the front of the park. If/when you book a site on the WV state park website, it will let you know which sites have water and electric.
As of June 10th out of state people are welcome....I'll be there Fathers day weekend camping and I'm from Maryland
Yes but the amount changes
With AT&T signal was a little here and there but I could take a step or two and have signal.
https://wvstateparks.com/park/cedar-creek-state-park/ I believe you can look it up on there, it has a park map you can download.
The park is free. Pool is $5.00 for adults and $3.00 for 11 years and under...all day. Camping lots are $33.00 a night.
Pool hours for Memorial Day are 12:00 to 6:00 pm
Should be now but it is storming now
October 31.
I think we paid 12 or 13 a night. Very reasonable, we also slept in our truck, but it doesn't make a difference.
Check their website for fees. They are open.
There are either six or eight sites that do not have water or electric.
$30 per night. If you go early May or after Labor Day, they have reduced rates. There are also discounts available for military and older WV residents.
They only have camper hook ups for rent
When you fish cedar creek park you only fish in the daytime and it is free, you can catch blue gill and catfish and bass, and in the winter you can catch trout
Some sites have 50. Most o my 30.
