The Best Buy in Charleston has processors, graphics cards, RAM, motherboards, hard drives, and power supplies. They also price match competition. So it's a good place to find parts at good prices.
I would recommend a place like Newegg.com for PC related parts. Also go to pcpartpicker.com. It will give you the best deal and verify if it is the right configuration for your build.
I used to work there and when i did Our Geeksquad crew was very knowledgeable about PC parts and components, however its been a few years. When I was there, each department always had E-Learnings that pertained to the products or procedures of that department and those had to be maintained to be allowed on the sales floor. Im sure they carry on this policy which benefits the customer.
Yes if you have a relitivly new PC.
