There is hunting in the national area of the park, i believe. Would probably be seasonal and regulated. Jersey side has a few acres of worthing state forest where firearms are NOT allowed. Would further inquire with local authorities.
Not that I'm aware of if your hikeing the applications I would beleave you would be able to carry to protect yourself if your travel from campsite to campsite state to state but you still need a licence for a gun or carrier licence or conceled wepons permit . In Fact You cannot go state to state with a gun or over state lines .
Not that I know of like any other state u need a license to carry
