How much is the buffet
Thurmont Mountain Gate has not closed and reopened. There used to however, be one in Waynesboro, Pennsylvania, not far from Thurmont, which had closed a few years back and is now what I believe to be a Steakhouse/Diner.

Just had Thanksgiving dinner here. Not a single sign of being closed anytime soon. Have been a restaurant manager for 16 years. Normally there are tell tale signs the a restaurant is in trouble. There were none. We love Mountain Gate, so it would truly be disappointing to see them go out of business.
No it has not closed down it is still open
It was open last month, during the festival. The food has really gone downhill though, instant mashed potatoes, etc... Not like it used to be. I think they are treading water.
