We went to Camelback Sept 20-23rd. Just a few weeks ago also. The hot tub was closed, the pool bar was closed off but you could still get drinks. There were several slides closed off and though there didn't seem to be an issue with the wave pool the lazy river seemed to be lacking staff to open and stay open. The flow rider was up and running the entire time we were there. The cabanas were $200, which I thought was a little pricey for end of season but our waitress did come around every 30 minutes. The entire resort is cashless because of COVID. This short vacation cost us $1900. That included 3 nights, parking access to the water park, zip lining, and the mountain coaster for a family of 5. I personally was disappointed, I thought it was overpriced for what we got. I dont think we will be returning.
It was open when we went 3 wks ago but the hot tub was drained, the bar pool was drained, the waves in the wave pool kept stopping, the lazy river closed early, Flowrider was taken apart completely and the pottery studio was gone and the ice cream and candy shop was closed. They also did not take cash. Very disappointed this year. Keep in mind there are 2 other resorts nearby. It also cost me $600. more than it cost me last year at the same time. We will not be returning to Camelback for the fact that when I called to ask about things that may have been unavailable because of COVID19 I was referred to the website, I was not given a straight answer. Hope this helps
