Just wadeing
Officially the lake is closed for swimming all season due to the fact that the park had to drain it for repairs and maintenance to the dam. They are allowing wading through the end of the season, on an "at own risk" basis. This information comes from the park's website.
There is fishing in some parts of the lake but it will not be open for swimming in 2018.
Hmmmm, it was pretty low the last time I went. I saw people fishing and I have seen them every time I've gone. The last time I went I did see people at the beach getting in the water even though it was low and they had some of it cordoned off. I don't know if they were in the water legally, but there were a bunch of people swimming
As of now, the lake is not expected to be open for swimming in 2018.
