Yes, swimming is allowed within a limited area near the two "beaches". The rest of the lake is often occupied by people paddle boarding, kayaks, and other small boats for leisure or fishing. There is a boat ramp. The couple times that I went it was $3 (MD resident with ID) and free for military and children in car seats or booster. I think it's $5 per person without a MD issued ID. Annual season passes are also available.

Swimming is allowed at your own risk when lifeguard is not on duty. Entry fee is $5 per adult, kids are free.

Yes it is I went two week ago the biggest surprise was that it was $6 per person.
