Do they have a new owner ? a year ago the place was much better now the bn past five time we were there including today we have to wait for someone to seat us and the server aren't that good they come take the order and pick up the check

I was there 2x this year, once in May & again in July. Both times, I saw the same owner as it's been for generations, the Sheridan family. Bob Sheridan and his older brother, Tom, both ran the place for years, as their father had begun to age & move into retirement years. Their father was in charge when I was a kid. Some of the servers and help may come & go, possibly as seasonal help, which could explain a difference in your service experience.
