It's a nice old place to eat. I have been coming here since I was a little Kid, I highly recommend anything that's Irish there, pot pie, Irish nachos. Everything is good though.

Local home town feel good kinda place with a view of the lake...resturant and bar...Food was good...staff very friendly....was busy since it was Mother's day...make reservations if you do not want to wait...

Great place to gather with friends and family. The food was fresh, hot, and delicious. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The beer was cold and tasty. I will definitely go there again when I'm in the area.

Not sure about the 19th, but Nov 5th, Blue Murphy is playing live around 9:30-10.
I went there last week and masks are required to enter. Sanitization between guests. Social distancing is easy there because of the amount of space they have. I felt like they were doing a great job!

I was there 2x this year, once in May & again in July. Both times, I saw the same owner as it's been for generations, the Sheridan family. Bob Sheridan and his older brother, Tom, both ran the place for years, as their father had begun to age & move into retirement years. Their father was in charge when I was a kid. Some of the servers and help may come & go, possibly as seasonal help, which could explain a difference in your service experience.
