We were just there Sunday. We did have to pay the $39 95 per person but all the show attractions were free except the 4D show. That was $4.95 per person. We didn't purchase food or drinks while there as we had just ate, so I can't comment on the food/drink prices. As previously stated, I do know they have free days for Illinois residents. They are listed on the website.

US "Link" holders, there's a $3 admission fee. Plus $4.95 additional for show attractions TUESDAYS FREEBIE FROM CHICAGO & SUBURBAN LIBRARY WITH THEIR FIRST COME FIRST SERVE RESERVE PASS. There is still a $3 fee plus $4.95 for additional attractions. Whew this was long EXPECT TO PAY $4 FOR A SODA, $9 POPCORN $3. SNICKERS.... RECOMMEND BAG A LUNCH. Unfortunately, if you are a tourist than no. Theres travelers deals which i think they're call hopper passes. Google travelers chicago passes. Good luck😊
