Way Faster if you buy them online!!
The line was out the door for tickets Tuesday around noon. I suggest getting tickets the day before or doing the pass. There was no line fot will-call when the pass is used.
You do not need tickets ahead of time but it enables you to skip the line. Tickets depend on several things. If all you plan to do is the aquarium, then $39.95 for adults and $29.95 for children. For $108 you get passes for 5 different places. Chicago residents get in for half price and free once a year. Easiest way to check is on the website.
