Well when i took my daughter the other day....all i had to do waa buy a movie ticket at the desk and it came with it....but all month its free...so i dont know if thats what they do on regular days
After you get your entrance tickets in the Main Level front lobby, proceed to the "green staircase" to your left near the back of that level, down the stair to the Ground Level. The aquatic presentation machines are on the left at the bottom of the staircase. Scan your entry pass, which will allow you to select a show time and print out pass(es). The Abbott Oceanarium / Rice Amphitheater entrances are to the right on that same level. Arrive very early for the show to get the best seating; it fills up quickly and early.
I bought entrance tickets to the aquarium online, when I arrived I asked for the dolphins, I showed my ticket on the phone they scanned it and they gave me the tickets for the dolphins but you must go early to ask them because if there are a lot of people and the show fills up that you can not find seats
Now you have to go downstairs by the cafe. There is a bank of screens that you have to go to and scan your ticket. It will then give you showtimes to select from.
When you walk in you will tell them at the desk where you pay but most of the time they will ask you.
