As Cristina said (thank you!), it depends on the vegetable. Zucchini, tomatoes, onions, garlic, etc are priced by the pound, cherry tomatoes, peaches and okra are sold by the container, beets and Swiss chard are sold by the bunch - there is no hard and fast rule. If you happened to be led here by searching for apple picking on Google, that is unfortunately an error, as we sell apples by the pound but we do not have pick-your-own.
When I've gone it seems to depend on the vegetable. I got zucchini by the container but tomatoes were by weight.
