Every time I have gotten off the tube I could touch the bottom. I am sure it is deeper in some places but most of the float trip is less than 5 ft deep, in my experience.
It really varies on what part of the river you're on usually it's three eight to eight maybe 10 12 ft at really really deep spots but tubing you're really stay long The edge anyway
