Arrive right when it opens or within the first hour is usually best, or later in the afternoon (after 3:30). Late morning too early afternoon are busiest in my experience.
Well weekends ... there may not be a perfect time to go bc it will probably be crowded,,, kids are off ... but if I were you buy your tickets online and go first thing so hopefully you can beat the crowds...hope this helps...
