*Scam Alert* My wife and I were members of The Edge since it opened. She was even doing personal training sessions at one point. Shortly before our son was born in early 2021 we decided to cancel our membership because 1)Her trainer was leaving and 2)We didn't feel safe since we noticed a lot members still not wearing their masks properly with little to no enforcement by the staff. We were assured by the Fitness Manager Ben that if we ever rejoined she could use the unused sessions. Up until last week she kept being bombarded weekly with calls from the gym asking if she wanted to rejoin and use her sessions. We finally decided to go back to the gym yesterday to see if things changed and to possibly rejoin. When she went to inquire about her PT sessions, the GM said they were gone and there was nothing they could do about it! This is completely ridiculous and I know for a fact sessions don't disappear especially when they are already paid for. When sessions go unused they don't pay the trainer, they go right back into funding the gym. This was the perfect scenario for them at our expense. I'm sure a call to the district manager for approval would've gotten the sessions back into the system. Not only did they lose 2 members rejoining, they also lost out on a potential Personal Training client renewing. Anyone who considers joining the Edge should look over their contract thoroughly and not rush to sign anything and/or just simply choose one of the many other gyms in the area.

Cancelling your membership is so difficult. I loved this gym but decided to cancel due to the price increase. Would recommend going to a different gym to avoid the awful cancellation process. I'm even more scared of how long this will take after reading the reviews.

Gym is super nice but canceling my membership here has been awful. I moved to the city and there isn’t an edge within 5 miles (closest EDGE to me is across state lines- LOL) so per my contract i should be able to cancel. I emailed back in December with proof of my new address AND followed up since i haven’t heard back in February and I’ve been still charged to this day. If you’re going to come here- please sign up with a checking account you can cancel because they will not stop charging you, otherwise you’ll be disputing charges every month.
