I never did online renewal but process is same across 1. Arrange your 6 point Id : https://www.state.nj.us/mvc/license/docselector/index.htm 2. Arrange for the renewal fee 3. Have your expired or current license 4. Submit.
Just to be clear...I do not work for the DMV.. I'm just a regular person that's somewhat familiar with some processes there so I may not know everything exactly bc everyones situation is different... however as far as I understand, as long as it's just a payment that needs to be done to renew it, you can do it online..I will double check but I'm pretty sure that the website is www.njmvc.gov or it's close to that and it should at least bring up the correct web address... It should give you the options on the homepage... And then they will mail you anything that you would be normally receiving in person... I just renewed my license and they mailed me my new one using an old picture... Hopefully that helps a little bit with your question...
