I've been going there for a few years now and I always stay in turtle pond area. I've gone when its busy and pretty empty. I enjoy it every time I go and have a blast. I prefer more towards the back of the area

Hey Luis, We have two tenting areas-Turtle Pond and Skunk Hollow. I don't know from my own experience but I can tell you that if somebody is calling to make reservations for tenting and they've been here before, they invariably ask for sites 422, 423, 424 and 425. I don't know what it is they like about those but I could guess that it's because they are just close enough to the bathhouse without being too close. Also, they seem to be a little bigger than the others. None of the tent sites are very close to the new pool. If that is your priority, you can check to see if sites 57, 57 and 58. Those sites are full hookup so they cost $10 more than the tenting sites BUT site 57 is bordered by foliage on two sides so it would have a little more privacy. Also, those three sites are right across the street from the newly remodeled bathhouse and brand new pool. We sure hope that you give the campground a try! We've had a ton of upgrades over the past year.

To my knowledge the pool is still not ready to use that's one reason we pulled out and went elsewhere.

They have a primitive camping area for renters. Check with campground for other sites available for tents.

None I wouldn't stay there

The tent camping location is very far from the pool. There is no better spot. I hAve never seen tent sites so close to each other before. Its incredibly odd. The reason why the sites look close to each other because they are in a heavily wooded area. Trees. Everywhere. And the ground is not level. Its very challenging to say the least.
