The BEST place in three states to bring your pets. Seriously. People, not only from Oregon in general, but also Washington and even Idaho, make the trek here for the best possible care for their fur family. Of course, that means you may have to wait awhile if you haven't made an appointment, but it's worth it. These people are beyond merely competent and care deeply about the critters who are their patients.

I can't say enough they have always treated my pets and myself with kindness and respect. We just lost our Bentley a Boston terrier and Columbia veterinary is handling all of the arrangements.❤️❤️

Very friendly, helpful staff who really care about animals. They were able to see my puppy in an emergency even though they were already quite busy and down to one awesome doctor that made time and took on the extra work to care for a sick pup, even calling and giving very informative updates and options. Very appreciative of all of their help, time, and information. Will be taking my dog here again for any future needs.

It's SO nice to be able to make an appointment again, to be able to actually go in the lobby and not have sit in the parking lot pressing re-dial for sometimes over an hour until you can break through to the clinic due to several other people repeatedly re dialing at the exact same time as you! It was very VERY stressful especially if you live hours away. I appreciate all the staff at this clinic and always have. I know they must be understaffed but you can see the staff care and do the best they can. I also imagine it's not easy dealing with all the different types of personalities and temperaments of us pet owners!

Established customers may get this favor, but new clients should expect to pay everything at time of service.
Yes but you can do a first come visit in the morning be there bye 745 am
I just had my pitbull put down about a month ago, and to have her cremated and keepsakes was about 200$ was a sad day but they were very helpful and supportive
Is this for a dog or cat? I have a lab/hound mix and have gound that the Nexguard chews work great for him. I have tried the topical Frontline previously and it wasn't as effective as the chews.
Payments are available, but i would call and make sure they will help you.
You'd probably have to call the veterinarian's office & ask them.
The doctor available will be on the voicemail
My dog had to have emergency surgery uterus removed and what they ended up doing was bringing her out to the workers and a big blanket and put her in the back of my car they do not keep animals overnight do not
I don't know their fax number. I am sure they have one though. You might have to call them after they open. If you get a recording just keep calling. It will eventually go through. That is what you have to do right now to get on the list when you go there to have your animals checked because of covid.
Idk I would assume so they took my credit card and they've taken cash before! The main thing is is that he will work with you you don't have enough money he'll try to figure out a way that's why dr. Rob is so amazing he's the best veterinarian I've ever been to even if I'm in Portland he's in Astoria it doesn't matter it's worth the drive!
I want to say 80 last I checked wich is cheaper than 120 to 200 in town
If you go to the spay and neuter thrift shop in seaside you can get 50 $ off vouchers for each cat and its like 65 each
They are closed from 12-130
A lot less than any where else
While I dont have an exact pricing for you, I will say that the main reason we go there is for the excellent care, but a huge draw for us and the friends we send there is the extremely fair rates they have charged for the last 12+ years. That has been our experience, especially with surgeries.
You can't make an appointment. They are open and you have to just keep calling until someone answers. But you have to be in the parking lot when you call because they don't take appointments its walk in/drive up only.
I have not heard
Walk in's yes but I am not sure about billing. I can add this veterinarian clinic is great and they are very careful about controlling costs. People really love there service and support
I take my pet to Hammond kennels to get her nails clipped.
Your first visit plan to pay the whole amount. I believe they take payments for already established patients
They get very busy and I think they do surgery's in the afternoon
I don't work so I don't know. Call and ask
Not to sure just call to verify price but they are the cheapest one's around without a dought
You do have to schedule surgeries do not know the cost
I have had good accounts with the Vet's just have to ask they're good people.
I think it was $55 I had a male cat neutered probably 8 months ago I think that includes office visit but if not I think it's 25 additional. They are also very good at working with you if finances are an issue.
Go to vet :'(
Was just there. They open at 8. Mostly walkins. Drop off and return after lunch.12:00- 1:30. Spay took till 330. Had appointment. Still took 8 hours
Yes they see rabbits for sure jyst give them a call thats the best way plus you can work out payments if you need to
It meant bad teeth in our dog . They were wonderful in Astoria and super cheap they really care about the animals.
Go to tricities spay and neuter thrift ship in seaside. You can get a voucher from them for free, and it's for CVH. It only cost me $60 for each of my males. I think females are little more, though.
One of the best ways to be seen it as facility is to show up as early as possible and get in line so I'd recommend that you show up right now and see if they can get you in
No appointment needed they open at 8am you get registered in order then the Vets start seeing you at 9am very reasonable $$$
Its $15.00 to just walk in, which is amazing. I just got one puppy shot n worm medicine. All together it was $30.00
Not only do they do dental cleanings but they're very careful with our pets so be sure and have blood work done too
No Dr. Didlake doesn't. He has a practice in Manzanita
You can call a payment in. I have before.
Time to take him to the vet it sounds like to me
Columbia Vet in Astoria is awesome!!! Love everyone there!! My Shih Tzu had that bad itchy skin too. Also changed food to Natural Balance duck & Potato (NO people food). Changed shampoo to Coal Tar, followed by Ultra Moisturizer shampoo once a week. Been itchy free for two years. Happy 🐕 Happy 😄
Columbia Vet has always taken excellent care of my pets at an extremely reasonable cost
Maybe they had a bigger purchase than expected by a payron ot two. Supply and demand are hard to calculate. It changes constantly. They are an awesome vet. Wouldn't go anywhere else.
From their posted hours they are closed from noon until 1:30 pm. They do make specific appointments for a small fee but I don't know those hours.
