I have a question. Is it possible for a dog to develop itchy skin and skin rashes from Mobil groomers? We have three dogs and all of them have relentless itchy skin... to the point they're starting to get scabs. I've changed their food already.

Columbia Vet in Astoria is awesome!!! Love everyone there!! My Shih Tzu had that bad itchy skin too. Also changed food to Natural Balance duck & Potato (NO people food). Changed shampoo to Coal Tar, followed by Ultra Moisturizer shampoo once a week. Been itchy free for two years. Happy šŸ• Happy šŸ˜„

This is common during the Winter months especially. Just like us humans get dry itchy skin. I no you said you already changed their food however I did the same thing and continue to have the same problem with my dogs. Then I switched to a dog food called Taste of the Wild that I can get at my local feed store. Solved all the problems with no more trips to the vet. However if you ever need to go to a vet I highly recommend Columbia vet hospital in Astoria. They are awesome and inexpensive.

Yes. Just like humans skin infections can spread from contact with shared surfaces.

I've used Columbia Vet for my Molly. Love everybody there! I switched food to Blue Buffalo, still itching TERRIBLY! I'm going to try Taste of the Wild I think. Thank You. The constant scratching and hair tufts are driving me and the dogs bonkers! But also, can they get skin rashes, etc via Mobil groomers?
